Replacing the gas engine with an electric motor generally makes the Fiat 500 a more pleasant car, and additional sound deadening dampens road and tire noise. ...the 500e looks as sporty and chic as any other Fiat 500 and it basically drives like one, too. The NVH gurus have done their job to keep the noise down - the cabin remains quiet even on the highway with heavy rain pelting the fabric top. The high roof and the huge front quarter-windows lend the interior a capacious feeling, and the cabin's fun "squircle"-shaped design theme and its quality materials make it feel Euro-stylish.
