Media Review
The Mazda 6i is a hoot to drive. Most impressive is the 6's steering, which feels as if it took a few lessons at the Miata finishing school. Turn-in is sharp, and the variable-assist rack-and-pinion system provides good feedback and little need for correction at higher speeds. Complementing the steering is its all-independent suspension, composed of double wishbones in the front and multiple links in the rear. We found the seats especially comfortable for fast driving through the suburbs and exurbs, with lots of good upper body support, and enough lower back support with the standard lumbar adjuster to keep you happy all day. ![]()
